"Our puppies are top of the hill!"
Dogwood Hills Farm is located in the Ozark hills near Richland, MO. We love being Dachshund puppy breeders and Maltipoo breeders as well as breeders of other kinds of dogs. My husband Gary and I have lived on a farm our entire lives and we enjoy raising and caring for animals. At the present time we have chickens, goats, sheep, horses, cats, and dogs. Our son David, his wife Donna, and our grandson Caleb live next to us and are also involved with the care of the animals. Our daughter Leslee helps me with the website and photography.
We are licensed and inspected by the USDA, the State of Missouri, and our Veterinarian.
Our puppies are well socialized because they get personal attention from the family members and also are allowed time to play with the cats and other puppies. We currently offer Dachshund puppies for sale, Maltipoo (or Maltepoo) puppies, Papillon puppies, and Shih Tzu puppies. I hope you enjoy your visit here.
Dachshunds are a common a family dog, and with good reason. They make great companions because they are happy, lively, clever, courageous, and affectionate. And they make great watchdogs because they are protective and may bark at perceived danger.
Maltipoos (Maltepoos) are a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle. This mix allows for characteristics of each to be present. If there is a general temperament of this breed, it is that of affectionate, lively, loyal, and protective.
